Happy Birthday/Happy Mother's Day to the greatest Mom the Lord could have given me! Now that I'm a mother, I understand the love you have for us all.  It's overwhelming! Thank you mom for loving us always.  Thank you for your consistent prayers. Thank you for the countless memories you made for us.  Thank you for all the days you sacrifice.  You have always put us first and I am so grateful.  You have made family your priority regardless of what the world may say.  & for these things we are all closer!  We love you SO much & will forever!

Nick graduated this past Saturday!

After countless late nights, library trips, papers, tests, projects Nick is finally finished with his Masters! I am so proud. I'm so proud of him graduating with highest honors.  But most importantly, I am so proud of him as he balanced life as a husband & father.  40 hrs a week, Sunday school prep, Seminary classes, & family life is a whole lot to handle.

He always made time for Maci and I!  & that is what I am most proud of!

I am thankful for a husband who truly loves his family.  He is a man of God & I am eternally grateful!

Thank you, Lord for the work you have done in my family these past two years & the work that you will continue to do until the end... <3

loving the simple life...

I love my life.  It isn't perfect, but I'm okay with that.  Actually, I'm more than okay with that. It's awesome!

My life, in this moment, is exactly how the Lord intends it to be and I love that truth.

We live a simple life.  Nothing fancy is fine with us.  Actually... we prefer it that way.  Our joy comes from the love that we share as a family not from things.

It's quite easy to get wrapped up in the have's and have not's here in this life BUT one day none of it will matter.  All we'll have are our memories made... so make those eternally count!
